Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ship React/TypeScript map workspace features including layers, annotations, timelines, and overlays
• Build APIs integrating PostGIS, geoprocessing services, and vector/3D tiles
• Optimize performance for large datasets and offline workflows through tiling, caching, and packaging
• Instrument telemetry, tests, and participate in on-call rotations for spatial services
• Collaborate with designers, analysts, and data engineers to iterate on user feedback

Requirements

• 3–7 years building geospatial or visualization-heavy full-stack applications
• Strong TypeScript/React and Node.js or Python
• Experience with Mapbox, MapLibre, or Cesium
• Understanding of geospatial formats, projections, and performance optimization
• Eligible to work in Germany
• EU/NATO citizenship and ability to pass security screening

Preferred Qualifications

• German language proficiency (B1+)
• Experience with offline sync, deck.gl, or NATO symbology
