Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide software application engineering and maintenance for all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Perform frontend and backend development for the enterprise search environment
• Leverage Elasticsearch, Java, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python for crawling, indexing, and query tuning
• Create and update CI/CD pipelines to build and test new features
• Deploy software following agile design methodology to ensure security and scalability
• Provide analysis and innovative methods to enhance product services
• Mentor team members in application design and business processes

Requirements

• Active DOE Q-level clearance or active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with DML and/or DDL in relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
• Knowledge of web architecture trends including performance, accessibility, and UI/UX design
• Experience with ML models for text and image analysis
• Proficiency with software development lifecycle, version controls, and issue tracking tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NLPs and vector-based retrieval
• Experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions
• Experience configuring and deploying applications within Kubernetes
