Full Stack Engineer, Health AI

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable full-stack systems for consumer and enterprise health products
• Own end-to-end feature development from initial design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Build and maintain data pipelines and services that meet strict privacy, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
• Collaborate with researchers and safety teams to integrate reliability and guardrails into production systems
• Debug, optimize, and harden systems to support high availability and global scale

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience writing maintainable, production-quality code
• Proven expertise in full-stack system design
• Experience with data pipeline maintenance
• Strong knowledge of compliance and security standards, specifically HIPAA

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong product engineering instincts with the ability to ship polished solutions from rough specs
• Prior experience building health-related or highly regulated products (finance, healthcare, etc.)
• Experience with distributed systems, backend architecture, or large-scale data pipelines
• Entrepreneurial drive or previous experience as a founder
• High-quality public code or open-source contributions
