General Medicine is building a healthcare store that makes it delightfully simple to shop for any type of care. We provide upfront cash and insurance prices for virtual and in-person visits, prescriptions, labs, imaging, and more.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale a seamless and beautiful consumer healthcare product
- Tackle complex operational challenges of delivering care at scale
- Write product requirements documents and SQL to analyze feature performance
- Own QA and navigate tradeoffs between engineering velocity and quality
- Work closely with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building web applications as a full-stack engineer
- Proficiency in a modern tech stack
- Experience with modern infrastructure tooling and programming languages
- Ability to operate in environments of significant ambiguity
- Willingness to work from the office in Boston or SF a minimum of 3 days per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Ruby on Rails, or NextJS
- Healthcare industry background
