Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture across backend (Ruby on Rails), frontend (Expo/React Native), and infrastructure.
• Drive technical vision and strategy in alignment with company goals while ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Define and champion best practices for AI-first engineering workflows, integrating AI tools into the full software development lifecycle.
• Build frameworks and libraries to make AI-assisted development a repeatable and scalable practice.
• Mentor engineers on technical depth and the effective use of automation and AI-driven tooling.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver measurable outcomes and communicate complex technical concepts.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with proven full stack capability.
• Deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Expo/React Native.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding and automation tools.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, REST/GraphQL APIs, and modern cloud architectures (AWS).
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) and automated testing (Playwright, Postman, or equivalent).
• Proven track record of driving architectural decisions and leading technical initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Pulumi or Go.
• Experience with modern data transformations (dbt) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using EKS and Helm.
