Full-Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build user-facing platform experiences across Studio, deployments, observability, traces, and human feedback.
• Ship polished frontend work using React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, and Hotwire.
• Own full-stack features from database models and service objects through controllers, jobs, APIs, and UI.
• Design workflows for complex agent management concepts including permissions, auth, and LLM connections.
• Integrate with external systems such as GitHub, Slack, Salesforce, Stripe, and various LLM providers.
• Write high-quality tests across Rails and frontend code using Minitest, RSpec, and Vitest.
• Partner with runtime and open-source engineers to make the underlying execution model visible and usable.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack product engineering experience, ideally in a B2B platform with complex workflows.
• Expertise in frontend development including React, TypeScript, component design, and state management.
• Solid backend ability with Ruby on Rails or a comparable MVC framework.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, background jobs, caching, and external APIs.
• A strong taste for clear UX when designing interfaces for technically complex systems.
• Strong testing habits and comfort shipping in a fast-moving codebase.
• Curiosity regarding AI/LLM concepts such as agents, workflows, and traces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with developer tools, workflow builders, or observability products.
• Familiarity with Hotwire, ViewComponent, or React Query.
• Experience implementing auth/SSO, integrations, secrets management, or billing systems.
• Strong design sensibility and ability to partner effectively with design teams.
