Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal tools including dashboards, admin panels, workflow automations, and integrations
• Automate repetitive work using scripts, scheduled jobs, or AI-assisted workflows
• Provide basic monitoring, alerting, and on-call support for internal tools
• Use AI as a force multiplier by leaning on LLM APIs and AI coding assistants
• Collaborate closely with the lead engineer on architecture and priorities

Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Python or Node.js for scripting and APIs
• Basic understanding of SQL databases
• Daily use of AI coding assistants like Cursor or Copilot
• Comfort calling LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic
• Basic knowledge of Linux, Git, and deployment tools like Docker, Railway, or Render

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating third-party APIs (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace)
• Exposure to prompt engineering or building with LLM APIs
• Familiarity with low-code tools like n8n, Make, or Retool
• Previous experience in a small team or startup environment
