About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications
  • Architect robust frontend systems using React.js and Next.js
  • Develop and optimize backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Lead system design and architectural decisions for new and existing applications
  • Manage databases including MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
  • Implement event-driven systems using messaging platforms like Apache Kafka
  • Drive real-time communication features using WebSockets and Socket.io
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and conduct code reviews

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (ES6+)
  • Extensive experience with React.js and Next.js
  • Strong backend experience with Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Proficiency with WebSockets, Socket.io, and Apache Kafka
  • Strong database experience with MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and modern version control workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to speak Arabic
