Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop software to solve analytical challenges and automate manual processes
• Design front-end UIs, back-end microservices, web services, and cloud architectures
• Deploy applications, databases, and IT capabilities using a hybrid Agile approach within DevOps
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases
• Maintain code integrity and collaborate with the engineering team to launch new features
• Coordinate deployment procedures and support off-hours deployments as needed

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution
• Understanding of cloud architectures and AWS Cloud (GovCloud/C2S)
• Strong experience with back-end programming languages Java/Spring and Python
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, JSON, SQL, and XML
• Working knowledge of datastores including MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, Redis, and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with jQuery, ASP/.Net, NoSQL, PL/SQL, LDAP, HTTP, REST/SOAP, and RDBMS
• Familiarity with configuration management and CI tools such as Git/GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Ansible, and Chef
• Linux/Unix server environment experience
• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and cloud message APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, JMS/SQS/SNS, Kafka, AWS Lambda, and NiFi
• Working knowledge of public keys and digital certificates
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Mocha/Chai, JUnit, NUnit, and TestNG
• Experience with DevOps environments
• Expertise in COTS, GOTS, and open-source tools for data integration and visualization
• Specialization in object-oriented programming, scripting, and databases
• Familiarity with Python, Groovy, and Shell Script
