Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Implement high-quality full-stack applications for Ares Secondaries under the guidance of senior engineering leadership
• Participate in all aspects of the SDLC, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Deliver high-quality code and test deliverables in collaboration with product teams
• Lead technological innovations by identifying and incorporating new solutions and driving initiatives with engineering and business partners
• Maintain a culture of excellence, collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience building scalable applications using Angular or React, Node, Spring Boot, or JPA
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL technologies (e.g., Postgres, Mongo, Redis)
• Knowledge of modern software development practices including CI/CD and GitHub/GitLab
• Experience using GenAI coding assistants and IDEs (e.g., GitHub Co-Pilot, Claude Code, Cursor)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Private Markets, Asset Management, or Fund-of-Funds Secondaries
• Understanding of the Alternatives Investment Lifecycle and associated systems
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts
• Experience with eFront and Dynamo
