Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based REST/SOAP APIs within a distributed, multi-tier architecture
• Build and integrate SOA/web services and backend components handling XML/JSON payloads
• Develop and maintain Spring Boot applications and manage containerized deployments
• Support and implement message-driven integrations using platforms like Kafka
• Lead Java migration efforts (e.g., JDK 8/11 to JDK 17) to ensure performance and security
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and Nexus
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications on Tomcat, Docker, and OpenShift in Linux environments
• Integrate with communication platforms including SMS providers and email delivery services

Requirements

• 7+ years of extensive hands-on experience in Java development (including JDK 11 or 17)
• 5+ years of experience building and integrating REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services
• Mandatory expertise in XSLT programming and advanced XML transformation
• 4+ years of Node.js development experience with strong JavaScript skills
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling including Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and Nexus
• Strong Unix/Linux operational skills and production troubleshooting experience
• Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker and OpenShift

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with JDK migration projects and performance tuning
• Hands-on production experience with Kafka (streams, consumer groups, DLQ patterns)
• Strong experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases
• Experience integrating with SMS platforms like Syniverse or Twilio
• Experience with email platforms like SparkPost and DMARC enforcement
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services including networking, IAM, and monitoring
