Full-Stack Data Scientist - Pricing

Responsibilities

• Own the models and logic behind marketplace pricing, managing two-sided incentives and dynamic pricing to balance traveler conversion with partner economics.
• Define base prices for markets, POIs, and stores using demand, competition, and willingness-to-pay signals.
• Design and ship dynamic pricing logic that adjusts for seasonality, occupancy, and local demand.
• Build search pricing algorithms to balance conversion, contribution margin, and supply fairness.
• Manage the two-sided pricing equation, modeling the impact of changes on traveler costs, partner earnings, and take rates.
• Design and measure promotions, discounts, and incentives with clean read-outs on incrementality.
• Run causal experiments on pricing changes, including geo holdouts, switchbacks, and A/B testing.
• Improve the Data-Focused Agentic Layer to make operational insights self-serve for field and ops teams.

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, math, or engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in pricing, revenue management, or marketplace incentives.
• Experience with data visualization and orchestration tools such as Amplitude, Tableau, Hex, or Airflow.
• Knowledge of Agentic Tooling (e.g., Claude, Jules, or Codex).
• Experience with causal inference techniques (geo experiments, switchbacks, synthetic control, etc.).
• Strong intuition for price elasticity, demand modeling, and unit economics.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
