Full Stack Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build interactive user interfaces (UI) using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Create server-side logic using Python, Java, or Node.js to handle data processing and business rules.
• Design and build REST APIs to facilitate communication between front-end, back-end, and external systems.
• Set up and manage databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure software quality.
• Deploy applications to production environments and maintain functionality through bug fixes and security updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business analysts, to deliver data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL (Presto/Trino, Spark, MS SQL).
• Strong Python skills, specifically with Pandas and PySpark.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes using Airflow.
• Experience with React for frontend development and Node/Python for backend development.
• Familiarity with multi-database environments such as PostgreSQL or Redshift.
• Good English proficiency in both written and oral communication.

• Ability to design, develop, and maintain the entire application stack independently.
• Versatility in bridging the gap between front-end and back-end development.
• Capability to work autonomously on complex projects to streamline development cycles.
• Broad knowledge to propose integrated solutions that balance user experience with server-side efficiency.
