Full-Stack AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows, internal tools, assistants, and platform capabilities
• Identify opportunities for AI integration across leadership, product, and operations teams
• Build agentic workflows and multi-step reasoning systems
• Develop intelligent onboarding, support systems, and knowledge retrieval tools
• Integrate AI across platform operations and customer workflows to create operational leverage

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (full-stack or backend preferred)
• Proven track record of shipping production software used by customers or internal teams
• Experience building AI-powered products, agents, copilots, or workflow systems
• Strong working knowledge of OpenAI and/or Anthropic APIs
• Proficiency with APIs, system integrations, and backend workflows
• Technical skills in Python, Node.js, or TypeScript
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, or knowledge retrieval systems
• Ability to work independently and make pragmatic technical tradeoffs in a fast-moving startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in AI-native companies or high-growth venture-backed startups
• Familiarity with tools like LangChain, LangGraph, n8n, Retool, Zapier, or Make
• Experience with workforce, HR, payroll, compliance, or payments workflows
• Strong product instincts and an entrepreneurial mindset
