About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling
  • Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
  • Manage candidate communications to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Assist with recruitment marketing, including the development and distribution of advertisements and employment materials
  • Participate in job fairs, workforce outreach, and community engagement efforts
  • Coordinate onboarding transition activities between candidates, hiring departments, and Human Resources
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and recruitment documentation
  • Develop and maintain recruitment metrics, vacancy reports, and applicant flow reports
  • Support compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requirements

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in recruitment, staffing, customer service, workforce development, or Human Resources
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
  • Alternative: Four years of directly related professional experience in lieu of the Associate's degree and required experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience with public sector recruitment
