About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling
- Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates and support hiring managers throughout the selection process
- Manage candidate communications to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Assist with recruitment marketing, including the development and distribution of advertisements and employment materials
- Participate in job fairs, workforce outreach, and community engagement efforts
- Coordinate onboarding transition activities between candidates, hiring departments, and Human Resources
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and recruitment documentation
- Develop and maintain recruitment metrics, vacancy reports, and applicant flow reports
- Support compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requirements
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in recruitment, staffing, customer service, workforce development, or Human Resources
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Alternative: Four years of directly related professional experience in lieu of the Associate's degree and required experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with public sector recruitment
