Fulfillment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor material availability, manage replenishment signals, and advise on potential shortages to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.
• Utilize MRP systems to analyze inventory needs, ensure timely replenishment, and reduce excess stock.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews and managing open order and shortage reports.
• Coordinate with transportation teams to track shipment status and ensure timely deliveries to receiving.
• Analyze inventory data and supplier performance metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Resolve discrepancies in the Discrepant Material Report (DMR) by tracking root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and sales teams to align material supply with operational requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing environment, OR an Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and processes.
• Proven experience in supplier relationship management.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory forecasting and developing supplier schedules.
• Experience reducing scheduling variances.
• APICS certification or willingness to obtain.
