Fuel Products Technologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth technical assessments to solve refinery and field quality issues
• Provide technical knowledge of fuel products and their applications to support business objectives
• Support global improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of superior fuel products
• Represent the company in external interactions with industry standardization groups and technical forums
• Interface with third parties to understand product component performance and supplier trends
• Review complex regulatory language and provide technical guidance on fuel product impacts
• Support the energy transition by monitoring developments in future powertrain technologies and fuels

Requirements

• B.Sc, M.Sc or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in fuel applications and fuel technology
• Minimum 3 years of work experience for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holders (0 years for PhD candidates)
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
• Willingness to occasionally work outside core hours to support global collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with transport fuels such as gasoline and diesel
• Background in fuel manufacturing, product development, or customer application experience
