About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor process equipment in accordance with operating procedures and plant safety standards
- Collect in-process and finished product samples, perform analyses, and interpret results
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on process equipment
- Maintain accurate shift logs covering process conditions, equipment status, and quality results
- Conduct routine environmental monitoring and report findings
- Improve yields and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Experience in production or industrial environments
- Strong interest in materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems
- Strong analytical mindset for root cause investigations
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
- Willingness to relocate to Emery County, Utah
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-performance or safety-critical production environments
- Deep understanding of quality and reliability protocols
- Hands-on laboratory and production experience
- Experience with ceramic processing, SolGel casting, or high temperature production
- Experience in chemical processing plants or wastewater treatment
