About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive B2B sales for fuels and lubricants by identifying and acquiring new customers
- Develop and execute action plans to meet or exceed sales goals and market strategies
- Build long-term partnerships with customers through proactive needs assessment and ownership
- Generate program proposals and communicate pricing or product changes effectively
- Coordinate with internal teams and resources to support business development and promotions
- Support market research, brand awareness initiatives, and the collection of past due accounts
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge through networking and professional training
- May supervise and coach Account Representatives to ensure high levels of customer development
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional sales experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales environments
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver professional presentations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in sales planning and product development
- Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and price strategy analysis
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in the petroleum industry
