Frontend Tech Lead/Staff Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of web applications and portals using Angular and ReactJS within the banking sector
• Prepare low-level designs in collaboration with Solution and Software Architects
• Guide project teams on technology strategy, coding practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment
• Act as a hands-on engineer to solve complex problems and remove technical impediments
• Partner with Product Owners on story creation, acceptance criteria, and communicating technical tradeoffs
• Provide a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices to ensure high code quality
• Mentor and coach team members to maximize their technical potential

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in software development, with expertise in Angular 10+
• Deep proficiency in Raw JavaScript and functional programming principles
• Strong knowledge of frontend design patterns for building scalable Single Page Applications (SPA)
• Excellent command of HTML5, CSS3, and frontend frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation
• Experience with Node JS and SVG
• Practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Proven experience working within Agile development environments
• Strong leadership and communication skills to align organizations on complex technical decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Solution Architect role or similar leadership capacity
• Background working within the banking or financial services sector
