Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features for the Proton Meet communication platform
• Ensure seamless interactions, responsiveness, and high-quality UI across devices
• Collaborate closely with backend, design, and other teams to deliver reliable features
• Advocate for clean, maintainable code and strong frontend architecture
• Balance performance, accessibility, and rapid feature delivery

Requirements

• Extensive experience with React and developing reusable components
• Proficiency with TypeScript or other typed languages
• Experience leading large and complex frontend projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using agentic AI
• Experience with audio/video applications
• Experience with WebRTC
• Experience with Messaging Layer Security (MLS)
