Frontend Engineer Intern

Dexmate is building the foundation for physical AI — combining a new generation of robots with a universal Physical AI OS, making robots as easy to build and deploy as software. Our mission is to democratize robotics by lowering the barrier to entry, delivering a plug-and-play platform for developers, researchers, and enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine interactive UI components using modern frontend frameworks (Vue 3 / React)
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and robotics teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Implement real-time data visualization for robot status, sensor data, and telemetry
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate your workflow
• Review and get reviewed through lightweight PR processes
• Learn rapidly on the job across new frameworks, protocols, and hardware concepts

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React or Vue)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and client-server architecture
• Proficient with AI-powered development tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code
• Interest in AI agents and building AI-integrated interfaces
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated testing
• Demonstrated ability to self-teach new technologies
• Comfortable working in both async and sync environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js or Python
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Exposure to Docker or AWS
• Understanding of WebSocket / Socket.IO for real-time communication
• Experience with authentication flows (JWT, OAuth)
• Familiarity with 3D rendering (Three.js, WebGL) or data visualization (ECharts, D3)
