Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces based on functional requirements and product goals
• Partner with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to refine requirements and iterate on designs
• Drive improvements in usability and overall user experience across the product portfolio
• Contribute to UI/UX strategy, design processes, and user workflow decisions
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers to support their professional growth
• Build and maintain efficient automated tests to ensure high quality and reliability
• Modernize frontend architecture by adopting current Angular capabilities and best practices
• Collect and analyze GUI usage metrics to inform future product improvements

Requirements

• Strong experience building large-scale enterprise web applications
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript package management tools (Node.js, npm, Yarn)
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Storybook
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, LESS, or Sass, including layout, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience building responsive applications that work across various browsers and screen sizes
• Ability to work in an in-office environment in Prague

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of storage technologies
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Java build tools like Maven
• Experience developing RESTful interfaces
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Knowledge of containers and Docker
