Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, performant, and scalable frontend features for our Web Shop across Desktop, Mobile Web, and Tablet using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and QA managers to translate requirements into user-friendly features.
• Architect innovative, sustainable frontend solutions and solve complex technical problems.
• Take ownership of large-scale projects from conception to deployment with high autonomy.
• Foster a culture of high-quality code through active participation in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Optimize frontend architecture, performance (Core Web Vitals), and development workflows.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Frontend Development.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep experience with React and its ecosystem, including hooks and context.
• Strong skills in HTML and modern CSS (e.g., CSS-in-JS, responsive design).
• Solid understanding of frontend testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and managing application state using Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite and package managers like npm or yarn.
• Proficiency with Git and comfortable working within CI/CD workflows.
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility (a11y).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR).
• Experience working in a large-scale e-commerce environment.
• Knowledge of Node.js.
• Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library.
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools like Cypress.
