Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, performant, and scalable frontend features for the Web Shop using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA managers to translate requirements into user-friendly features
• Architect innovative, sustainable frontend solutions and solve complex technical problems
• Take ownership of large-scale projects from conception to deployment with high autonomy
• Participate in code reviews to ensure maintainability and adherence to best practices
• Optimize frontend architecture, performance (Core Web Vitals), and development workflows

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in frontend development
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Deep experience with React and its ecosystem, including hooks and context
• Strong skills in HTML and modern CSS (e.g., CSS-in-JS, responsive design)
• Solid understanding of frontend testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library
• Experience integrating REST APIs and managing state with Redux, Zustand, or React Query
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite and Git/CI/CD workflows
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility (a11y)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR)
• Experience working in a large-scale e-commerce environment
• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools like Cypress
