Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, performant, and scalable frontend features for the Web Shop using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA managers to translate requirements into reliable features
• Architect innovative, sustainable frontend solutions and solve complex technical problems
• Take ownership of large-scale projects from conception to deployment
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and best practices
• Optimize frontend architecture, performance (Core Web Vitals), and development workflows

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Frontend Development
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Deep experience with React and its ecosystem
• Strong skills in HTML and modern CSS (CSS-in-JS, responsive design)
• Solid understanding of frontend testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and managing state with Redux, Zustand, or React Query
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite and package managers like npm or yarn
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility (a11y)
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows
• High autonomy and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR)
• Experience in a large-scale e-commerce environment
• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools like Cypress
