Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, performant, and scalable frontend features for the webshop using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and QA Managers to transform requirements into user-friendly features
• Solve complex technical problems and architect innovative, sustainable frontend solutions
• Take responsibility for large projects from conception to deployment
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices
• Optimize frontend architecture, Core Web Vitals, and development workflows

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in frontend development
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Deep experience with React and its ecosystem (Hooks, Context)
• Strong skills in HTML and modern CSS (CSS-in-JS, Responsive Design)
• Understanding of frontend testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library
• Experience integrating REST APIs and state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query)
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite) and package managers (npm, yarn)
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility (a11y)
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and high level of autonomy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
• Experience in a large e-commerce environment
• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools like Cypress
