Frontend Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve frontend applications within a modern web component ecosystem
• Support the migration of existing React-based solutions into a lit-html based architecture
• Build reusable UI components and features aligned with internal standards and libraries
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend interfaces with Java-based services
• Create and maintain unit, integration, and browser-based automated tests
• Contribute to frontend architecture discussions, migration planning, and modernization activities
• Ensure high code quality through debugging, code reviews, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Commercial experience in modern web application development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Practical experience with React and component-based development
• Knowledge of or interest in web components and lit-html
• Experience with unit, integration, and browser-based testing tools
• Proficiency with Git and standard software development workflows
• Experience using AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)
• Must reside in the European Union and possess a valid work permit

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with migration or modernization projects involving legacy frontend stacks
• Knowledge of frontend architecture patterns for enterprise-scale applications
• Experience applying Generative AI within the SDLC through defined workflows or prompt patterns
• Familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices and agent-based workflows
