Frontend Developer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the evolution of the RICARDO digital platform
• Modernize user experience and develop new features with a focus on performance and accessibility
• Transform mockups and user journeys into robust, high-performing interfaces
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including product, design, and data
• Participate in code reviews and Scrum ceremonies
• Evolve the design system and shared components in collaboration with designers
• Implement efficient frontend architectures and robust solutions
• Take ownership of build systems and application deployment

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a frontend developer
• Degree in computer programming or a related field
• Advanced skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong experience with React and its ecosystem
• Excellent command of HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors like Sass or Less
• Solid understanding of responsive design, WCAG accessibility, and web performance
• Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack or Vite
• Experience with high-traffic interface design and maintenance
• Proficiency with frontend testing tools like Jest, Testing Library, or Cypress
• Strong knowledge of Git and deployment processes
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Excellent French and good English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud services (AWS) and Docker
• Experience using AI tools applied to development
