Frontend Developer Software Engineer Consultant I

Responsibilities

• Develop code for complex modules and maintain software solutions using React.js and Java
• Participate in design reviews, conduct code reviews, and create test plans
• Design, document, and maintain components of software solutions for complex projects
• Work closely with business partners to identify needs and design technology solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Manage all phases of the application development cycle, from requirements gathering through release and ongoing user support
• Resolve moderate defects and implement tactical solutions to overcome process bottlenecks
• Serve as a point of contact for areas outside of the direct team and coach less experienced employees

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux
• Proficiency in Java 8 (Java 17 is a plus)
• Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based architecture
• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools (Babel, Webpack, NPM) and version control (GitHub)
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Token
• 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)
