About the role
Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers to design, analyse and implement functional requirements
- Understand needs and develop solutions to improve end-user experience and operations
- Collaborate with UX and UI designers to develop functional requirements and wireframes into specific features
- Develop, maintain, support and documents UI components that are clean, easy-to-understand, and visionary
- Develop web experiences that are clean, pragmatic, and visionary
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of experience with HTML5, LESS/CSS, JavaScript, JS, JQuery, and other UI technologies
- 3+ years of experience with AngularJS or other JavaScript frameworks
- 3+ years of experience with responsive web design and presentation layer concepts (MVC, object-oriented development, progressive enhancement)
- Experience testing code
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MYSQL and database systems
- Experience with web application security
- Experience with Unix and Git version control
- Knowledge of Angular 2 and Typescript
- Familiarity with Java or other OO languages
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with distributed scalable systems
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud computing platforms
