Front Office Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for global Discretionary Macro & Fixed Income (DMFI) Portfolio Managers, Traders, and investment teams
• Act as a liaison between third-party trading vendors, internal technical teams, and end-users
• Serve as the first point of contact for production-related outages and daily system queries
• Coordinate with Tech and Business teams to onboard new trading applications and portfolio managers
• Troubleshoot technical trading issues and assist Trading Assistants and Operations with trade failures
• Automate and optimize processes to enhance vendor platforms and the overall DMFI production environment

Requirements

• Experience in financial services and supporting trading desks or portfolio managers
• Knowledge of various macro and fixed income asset classes
• Experience supporting front office vendor fixed income trading systems
• Strong business analysis and project management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of delivering results

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to APIs and Bloomberg terminals
• Knowledge of Credit trading applications
• Proven experience with AI tooling
• Experience with vendor trading systems such as Neovest, TT, BidFX, Portware, Coremont, or Tradeweb
