About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front desk operations, including guest registration, check-in, and check-out processes
- Manage hotel occupancy, room status, and ensure all guest requests and special preferences are met
- Oversee payment methods, handle disputed charges, and ensure compliance with credit policies
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments regarding room moves, arrivals, and amenities
- Lead team briefings and participate in the training and development of front desk associates
- Resolve guest issues efficiently to ensure high levels of satisfaction and positive feedback
- Ensure all front office staff follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean, professional workspace
Requirements
- Proven experience with OPERA Cloud is mandatory
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, "Yes I Can!" attitude and a passion for exceptional guest service
