About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact to deliver a world-class patient experience
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and via telephone
- Greet patients promptly and manage professional office atmosphere
- Answer internal and external phone calls with courtesy and urgency
- Verify insurance authorizations and build accurate flow sheets
- Check out patients and collect payments according to procedures
- Manage patient flow to maximize office efficiency
- Complete daily reconciliations and cash drawer counts
- Comply with all company policies and HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work various days and hours including Saturdays
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic to intermediate mathematics and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and reliable with a professional attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry-related experience preferred
- Experience in a medical or clinical environment
