About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily reception operations, including managing guest arrivals, departures, and stays.
- Ensure high-quality guest service and adherence to establishment standards.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special situations with professionalism.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments (housekeeping, F&B, maintenance) to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage reservation security, payment follow-ups, and cash handling compliance.
- Lead, motivate, and support the reception team to maintain a positive work environment.
- Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and development meetings for receptionists.
Requirements
- Significant experience in hotel reception.
- Mastery of reception procedures and guest relations.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in IT tools and computer systems.
- Fluency in English.
- Rigor, autonomy, and a strong sense of initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Opéra Cloud software.
- Previous experience within an Ibis hotel or the Accor group.
- Proficiency in a third foreign language.
