About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure guest service standards for arrival, departure, and all contact experiences are met
- Supervise, train, and staff the front office team to realize their full potential
- Manage departmental and labor expenses to stay within forecasted numbers
- Drive revenue maximization through upsell programs and loyalty enrollments
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and respond to feedback within brand guidelines
- Maintain TripleAAA 4 Diamond rating standards and ensure passing brand QA
- Oversee front office systems, equipment, and lobby appearance
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate communication and guest satisfaction
- Interview, hire, train, and develop staff members while managing performance appraisals
- Act as Manager on Duty per schedule
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years Front Desk experience in a leadership role
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with PMS systems and computer literacy
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm and alert during emergency situations or heavy hotel activity
- Ability to stand for 75% or more of the shift
