About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead daily Front Office operations and manage the Front Desk team
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve concerns using service recovery techniques
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop Front Office team members
- Drive IHG One Rewards enrollments and promote upselling opportunities
- Monitor room inventory, billing, and cash handling accuracy
- Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and safety protocols
- Partner with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales departments to ensure operational excellence
Requirements
- Minimum two years of Front Office leadership experience in a hotel environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of cash handling and hotel accounting procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- IHG brand experience
- Experience with Opera PMS
- Experience improving Guest Love scores
- Proven success increasing IHG One Rewards enrollments
- Experience leading teams in a select-service environment
