About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Front Office in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
- Provide managerial support for Reception, Royal Service, Concierge, Guest Relations and Guest Services
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office colleagues
- Communicate pertinent information through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Follow all department policies, procedures, service and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year previous proven supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Highly organized and results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in English
- Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Knowledge of Micros-Fidelio Property Management System
- Experience with a Hotel loyalty program
- Certification in basic first aid
