About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Front Office in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
  • Provide managerial support for Reception, Royal Service, Concierge, Guest Relations and Guest Services
  • Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office colleagues
  • Communicate pertinent information through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Follow all department policies, procedures, service and safety standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year previous proven supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Highly organized and results-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in English
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • Knowledge of Micros-Fidelio Property Management System
  • Experience with a Hotel loyalty program
  • Certification in basic first aid
