Front Office Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support applications for the Derivatives Engine Trading Desk to improve hedging, risk management, pricing, and ad-hoc trading activities.
• Ensure trading applications conform to technology testing standards and establish proper support plans.
• Collaborate closely with Quants and Technology teams to translate trading requirements into global application designs.
• Assist in the handover of tactical applications to permanent Technology teams.
• Work directly with the Trading desk to improve technological maturity and identify efficiency gains.

Requirements

• Strong applied Python knowledge.
• Professional software development experience.
• Proven experience with modern AI tooling and delivering its functionality in production environments.
• Expertise in software design, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and deploying production-level code.
• Ability to work autonomously under pressure and manage shifting priorities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical matters simply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with structured products or equities derivatives trading activities.
• Deep understanding of trading desk workflows and market activities.
