Front Office Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support applications for the Derivatives Engine Trading Desk to improve hedging, risk management, and pricing.
• Work closely with Quants and Technology to ensure trading requirements are accurately translated into global application designs.
• Ensure all trading applications conform to technology testing standards and establish proper support plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve the technological maturity of the trading team.
• Assist with the handover of tactical applications to permanent Technology teams when required.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal operational risk frameworks.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong applied Python knowledge.
• Proven expertise in software design and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience deploying production-level code.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into performant code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with structured products or equities derivatives trading activities.
• A strong understanding of trading desk activities and financial markets.
