About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary front-line representative for the Center for International Education (CIE)
- Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and electronically to provide student-centered support
- Support international student services, study abroad initiatives, and English language programming
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and culturally responsive office environment
- Coordinate front office operations, including digital signage, informational displays, and office supplies
- Maintain accurate records of office traffic, student inquiries, and service trends
- Assist with document routing, imaging, and information management procedures
- Provide administrative support for departmental communications and special projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred)
- 0–1 years of related experience in student support, customer service, or administrative roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technologies
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the needs of international students
