Front Office Assistant

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain productive schedules for doctors and hygienists
• Verify insurance coverage, fee schedules, and complete insurance breakdowns for patients
• Complete pre-authorizations and referrals to ensure proper claim processing
• Coordinate financial agreements and consent forms regarding patient financial responsibility
• Assist patients with understanding treatment plans to increase case acceptance
• Manage patient check-in, registration, and maintain accurate health and dental records
• Ensure efficient office operations, including phone calls, mail, and billing inquiries
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA Privacy Practices

Requirements

• Proven customer service experience
• Strong attention to detail regarding patient records and scheduling
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and privacy practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dental office
