Front of House Manager, Auditorium Theatre

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-caliber guest services and manage all Front of House and Historic Landmark Tour operations.
• Oversee safe and efficient ingress and egress for all theatre events and functions.
• Schedule, train, and manage a diverse staff, including Assistant Managers, Ushers, Security, EMTs, and Volunteers.
• Coordinate event requirements such as start of show and intermissions with the Production Team.
• Manage and expand the Backstage Tour program to ensure a revenue-generating operation.
• Respond to escalated emergencies, guest concerns, and ADA accommodation requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Box Office, Food & Beverage, and Production Managers to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain Front of House supply inventories, equipment, and operational manuals/SOPs.
• Facilitate accurate payroll processing and assist in managing the department operating budget.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in front of house operations within a large theatre environment.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Solid working knowledge of AXS and Ticketmaster ticketing software.
• Proven experience in the supervision and management of large, diverse teams.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
