Front Line Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day shelter operations, including client care, triage processes, and supportive case management
• Supervise frontline staff by conducting performance reviews, managing schedules, and chairing team meetings
• Support the implementation of enhanced case management models such as Housing First and Critical Time Intervention
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and Occupational Health and Safety Act standards
• Assist with administrative tasks including payroll submission, incident investigations, and documentation audits
• Provide on-call support and back-up decision-making in the absence of senior management

Requirements

• 2-year Diploma in Human Services
• 2-3 years of experience in residential or case management within the homeless serving sector
• Experience working with marginalized populations, including individuals with mental health challenges and addictions
• Certifications in First Aid/CPR, Crisis Intervention, and Conflict Resolution
• Ability to successfully complete a Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills
