Front End Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development and ensure UX consistency across various pages and components within the Candid app
• Interact closely with current and prospective customers to develop intuition around their pain points and create creative solutions
• Shape engineering and company culture to foster a high-performing work environment
• Maintain and implement relevant front-end libraries and tooling
• Build tooling and improvements for front-end DevOps
• Manage front-end profiling and monitoring

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field
• 3+ years of experience in a software engineering position
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, and API development
• Strong instincts regarding UX and Design
• Clear and concise communication skills, both in-person and in writing
• A customer-first mindset and a learner's approach to professional growth

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server-side rendering or GraphQL
• Familiarity with Tailwind, Firebase, or Codegen
