Front End Quality Engineer (Automation)

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and application components to design effective test cases
• Conduct POC and research to develop automation solutions for Web, Mobile, and OTT platforms
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts
• Evaluate regression and smoke test runs to identify automatable test cases
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines
• Create, run, and maintain automation test scripts on a daily basis
• Participate in code reviews and commit code to Git repositories
• Document test frameworks and provide guidance/training to team members
• Capture and report automation coverage and utilization metrics to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of professional experience in Front End Automation & Quality Engineering
• Proven experience with Selenium (Web), Appium (Mobile), and OTT platforms
• Hands-on coding experience in Java, TypeScript, or Python
• Expertise in SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience in Media, Entertainment, or Sports domains (Streaming, VOD, etc.)
• Ability to work Night Shift (4pm-1am or 8:30pm-5:30am)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Test Management tools like Qmetry or Zephyr
• Proficiency with tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, Pytest, Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub
• Familiarity with Roku API libraries, Xcode, and Android Studio
