About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop cross-platform web and mobile user interfaces using React and TypeScript from a single shared codebase
- Build and maintain reusable UI components aligned to a shared design system, including design tokens and responsive layouts
- Integrate Contentful headless CMS content into page templates and component layouts
- Implement utility-first styling using NativeWind and Tailwind-style patterns
- Consume services through the DISP Orchestration API / Backend-for-Frontend pattern
- Support localization and internationalization for bilingual English/French content
- Participate in Agile Scrum practices, including daily standups, sprint planning, and code reviews in Azure DevOps
- Implement automated functional, component, accessibility, and regression tests
Requirements
- 3+ years of front-end development experience with React Native for web and mobile
- Proficiency in TypeScript and component-based architecture
- Experience with utility-first styling frameworks such as NativeWind or Tailwind
- Experience integrating with headless CMS platforms (preferably Contentful)
- Experience consuming REST APIs through an orchestration-layer pattern
- Strong understanding of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards
- Working knowledge of Azure App Service and enterprise cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in regulated industries such as financial services, pension, healthcare, or insurance
- Experience working with centralized design tokens for theming and layout consistency
- Experience building large-scale authenticated digital products or high-profile public web domains
