Front-End Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications incorporating both front-end and back-end technologies
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
• Integrate software components into fully functional systems
• Consult with Product and Business groups to provide high-level application development services
• Actively participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Analyze business situations and provide recommendations to resolve issues for specific business groups

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Front-End UI technologies
• Extensive experience with Angular, HTML/CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, ORM, and Spring Data libraries
• Proficiency with Oracle or SQL Server
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Web Services and RESTful APIs
• Understanding of messaging frameworks such as IBM MQ or Kafka
• Experience with SDLC, DevOps processes, CI/CD tools, and Git
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Karma or Jasmine
• Familiarity with AI coding-assist tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the securities or financial services industry, specifically focusing on Equities
• Understanding of trade life cycles for Equities
• Experience designing and implementing new systems and features across platforms
• Background in production support and the ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure
• Experience with application profiling, debugging, and caching frameworks
