Front End Developer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive, and interactive interfaces across multiple devices
• Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating high-quality interactions and writing reusable, maintainable code modules
• Implement UI development principles to ensure the product client-side serves at scale
• Review and optimize application usage by monitoring key metrics and proactively rectifying issues
• Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to rapidly changing designs and technologies

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert, or frontend engineer
• Sound knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with UI layouts, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS Grid system
• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, or similar
• Experience debugging using popular tools like the Chrome Developer Console
• Strong passion for design, usability, and creating great user experiences
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-player mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Ember.js
• Experience working with Ruby
