Front End Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Architect modular, maintainable, and scalable UI component libraries
• Mentor mid-level and junior frontend developers through code reviews and coaching
• Integrate frontend applications with backend .NET services using REST APIs, JSON, and XML
• Drive client-side state management, rendering optimization, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product owners
• Establish coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and quality controls
• Use Git and GitLab for version control and merge request workflows
• Troubleshoot complex UI issues across environments and browsers
• Operate within AWS cloud-hosted environments
• Review code and container scans to remediate vulnerabilities

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building modern front-end applications with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Strong UI development skills using HTML, CSS/Sass, and responsive design
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling JSON/XML data
• Proficiency with Git/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, YAML)
• Ability to design and optimize scalable front-end architectures in AWS
• Knowledge of vulnerability remediation and .NET API integration
• Proven ability to mentor developers and lead engineering best practices
• Active Top-Secret clearance, SCI eligible
